Yet another photo from 73 feet above the city! In this image you can see downtown, the Space Needle, Queen Anne hill, the Magnolia peninsula, off in the distance is Ballard, and of course Puget Sound.
Thank you very much, Hal! That is the 1201 Third Avenue building, and is my all around favorite in the city for its neo-classic architecture!
Here's a snippit from Wikipedia:
1201 Third Avenue, formerly Washington Mutual Tower is the second tallest skyscraper in the downtown Seattle skyline. At 55 stories and 235.31 m (772.0 ft), it is the eighth tallest skyscraper on the West Coast. Developed by Wright Runstad & Company, construction began in 1986 and finished in 1988. The building was designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates and The McKinley Architects. The building was the world headquarters of the financial company Washington Mutual from the building's opening until the company moved into the WaMu Center across the street in 2006.

This is a view l had not previously seen Jim. What is the large building with the arches and the stepped roof ? You have created another masterpiece here. l'm sure you could sell these photos to the city, to have them used for publicity.
