Thank you, Terry, Mike and Hal. Your comments are appreciated. Hal, This is the Leitz Summilux-R for their SLR cameras. It is an older copy, but is very sharp. Wide open, it has beautiful bokeh. I have used it for a long time with an R to NEX adapter on my NEX7. I recently ordered a new Sony A mount and had the mount changed. Now I can use it on my Sony A99 SLT and I can still use it on NEX7 with an A mount to NEX mount adapter.

Lovely light and detail, Cindy. l see Leitz has improved the Summilux 50mm 1.4. The early ones like l had bought from the factory in Wetzlar were definitely not sharp, as they confessed to me at the factory.
