Eagle Harbor Lighthouse from across the inlet

Eagle Harbor, Michigan

This is the lighthouse that I posted in black and white the other day. I was standing out on the rocks below it for that shot. I took this one two days later from across the inlet.

So well taken, this lighthouse is photogenic. A wonderful scene.
But this place gets 150"-390" of snow in a winter, now that is a serious amount of snow.

Bob, This area gets 150-390 inches of snow during a winter. I won't be up there to see snow on this roof. LOL The area does draw snowmobilers, but most businesses are seasonal.

Looks much different from a distance. I look at this and imagine what it will look like with snow on the rocks and the trees. I'll bet you can't wait. :-)
