Whatever clown shot the two Bald Eagles, should be strung up from the branch that supports their nest. This is one topic I feel very strongly about.
I have no problem with shooting or hunting, but protected species are protected for a reason. Anyway that's my rant for today. great to see an eagle on her nest.

Amen, Pete.
I never owned one until the day after the last Presidential election...

I feel like a nervous grand parent I think, looking forward to a great outcome.
But don't start me on the topic of Americans and guns!

Thanks for the follow-up info, Michael. Thanks heavens the
eagle population is on the upswing - at least currently enough
to offset the mindless acts of human beings. I hope this pair
are successful in raising their offspring.

Keep watching... we are looking forward to the big event.

I hope the person who shot the eagles are identified and
prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

We will all be waiting with baited breath! BTW, the nestlings may
not be the most beautiful babies you have ever seen, but their
parents will think they are!

Cleverly done, Michael.
You are fortunate to have located their nest.
