Douglas County, Washington

Columbia River Scenic Byway
Driving home yesterday from Winthrop I could hardly believe how beautiful the reflections were in the Columbia River. This was probably the best spot I saw along the way and naturally, did a u-turn and went back to where I first saw this scene. Wow, I am so glad I did!!

If it wasn't for that little rock in the foreground I could have believed this to be upside down! Excellent

Highly compley surfaces and shadows and well lit Valleys.
What a fine reflection.
Truly an amazing place to be standing with a camera.
Fine image, Jim.

This is an amazing view, Jim! Is this Lake Pateros on the Columbia?
In any case, thanks for turning around to get this image!
