I am a printer by trade, so I know what this is all about; it's an old Letterpress press. When you look at technology today, it is hard to believe where we came from...

What a cool old press. They just don't make um like they used to. If this place could talk!

I love the new Sony, Rudi. If they would just put an EVF on it, I would never want to carry around a big DSLR again. They need to make a few tweaks to the user interface and IS would be nice, too, but they are really onto something. I love that I can use my Leica M, Pen-F, Minolta MD and Contax G lenses on it. The Contax G's are my favorites. I also got a kit lens of 18-55mm and a 16mm f/2.8 AF lens for the times that I need auto-focus (rarely use it) or want to go wider.
I can put the camera and a lens or two in my purse and be ready for anything. The flash is about the size of a rechargeable camera battery and very light.

What an interesting photograph, Cindy.
l can visualize some poor soul with ink on his hands,
pressing down hard on the handles as he pushes the roller back and forth
and pausing only to re-ink. Not "the good old days" but l love the photo.

I wonder when that was last used. Did it have a manufacture date on it?

Now there's a piece of nostalgia! Very well framed up, nice image.
