Cannons

Before I left for the Blue Ridge Mountains, a shot from home. Hopefully, a shot from up here tomorrow...
This shot is from my NEW old camera, a Pentax Spotmatic II, which has a superb 50/1.4 on front. This was the gift from a very dear friend, and I had it completely torn down and re-furbished. It's quite a piece, and the giver is quite a guy...

I love the DoF. This is a great shot and i love your story behind the camera you used. Love the bokeh as well. Good work!

Beautifully composed, Michael. l don't think it could be improved upon.
A photo one can look at for a long time with its memories of the civil war.
lt would make an excellent enlargement :)

Michael, Your new rig is the doing a lovely job. The DOF is just perfect to make the front gun pop. I am a lover of old photo gear (as you know), so I appreciate the beauty from (and the fun of using) older gear. They don't make it like that any more.
