Great series on the TCats here. One of my best friends flew the F14 out of So. Weymouth NAS, MA during the 80's. He was one of the pilots to intercept a Soviet Bear bomber when it came close to breaching our airspace over New England back then.

did you happen to see the last one leave Oceana on Friday? It was actually anti-climactic . . . the one that was SUPPOSED to do the representative fly-off had some sort of mechanical failure and the stand-by (for JUST such an event . . they weren't sure the old planes could make it!) was the one to do the ceremonious fly-off.
The Air show showed them off MUCH better . .and your pix are great =)
