I live on the Rio Chama River in Abiquiu, New Mexico. My 4 acres have alot of original foliage. Directly across Chama from me, is a 300 acre tree preserve.
As you can imagine, I am up to my neck in birds; and loving every note and feather of it.
One day I filmed a great horn owl swimming across my river with a morganza duck in its talon!
Outside my bathroom, a hummer made a nest and raised 2 babies.
I found your site looking for info on the newly arrived orange hummingbird chasing away every other hummer.
One day in Feb, there were 100 white gulls making a circle then a figure 8 overhead.
It goes on and on and on.
