On the 6 th of June 2008 I attended the 45 th Reunion of the Class of 63 at St Anne's College in Hilton Natal. There was a sense of familiarity about the beautiful old red brick buildings but there was even more amazement at how things had changed! Misty Hilton had many forests and fewer houses 45 years ago. Now the school is surrounded by homes and the old Quarry has become a very busy shopping mall. There were 20 of us out of a class of 48 who managed to attend the day and what a wonderful time we had reminiscing about the "Old days" One shares a special bond with one's classmates and though, at first, one may not recognise some of the faces that have changed in 45 years, in a few minutes one has closed the gap and the years disappear. We all had a wonderful weekend catching up. To those of you that did not manage it, it takes a bit of courage to go back, but once you are there, it is really worth it. We are "Baby Boomers" and doing fine. See you in 5 years time at our 50 th!
