Yes, this is the old Windber Hotel, but it has been restored, and really looks terrific inside. The old wood and bar, etc. is great and they are redoing the rooms upstairs. Good food too. A good place to visit when you are in Windber.

I was born in Windber but we left when I was very young.We would go back every year for two weeks.If this is the windber hotel,which it looks like,my mother worked there when she was young. We went back to Windber about six years ago while I was going to Lancaster. Needless to say you can imagine how surprized I was when I found these pics. Thanh You for bringing back some fond memories.
