Death Valley

Death Valley ... literally !! They were not kidding when they named it. The heat is beyond any Canadian's imagination. 40°C at 10 a.m. Brutal !!! At least the air is dry. We could only step out of the car for 5 minutes, with an umbrella. I think we never drank so much water in 1 day in our life. However, the Artist's Palette was worth the detour.
Mix of salt and sand Under sea level 'Take a walk on the salt side' Don't go too far !

Zabriskie point Yeeeehaaaa ! It reminds me of a Road Runner track In case you doubt you're in Death Valley ... Oh really ??? There is a school near by ?
Are you still doubting you're in Death Valley ? And why was the school sign between two holy crosses ? Natural bridge (bottom of the picture) Ground covered with salt On the road to nowhere
