This unusual image of the well known Trifid nebula at a distance of about 5200 Light years
looks quite different in Narrowband imaging.

16" f3.75 Dream Astrograph (Hydrogen Alpha and RGB)
Apogee Alta U-16M camera.

10" F2.8 POWERNEWT (O3 and S2)
SBIG ST-8300M with FW5 Filterwheel


S2-Ha-O3 image (mapped as RGB)
RGB for the stars
Ha - 30 min ,O3,s2 - 30 min each
RGB 10 minutes each
