Angkor Wat & Heritage Site

This gallery gives an impression of the Angkor Wat and other temples at the Angkor Heritage Site (AHS), near Siem Reap in Cambodia. The Temples of Angkor was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992 and it covers an area of three hundred square kilometres. Photos of other parts and sights of Cambodia are displayed in a separate gallery at the main page.

We spent only one day at AHS, visiting only key temples of this magnificient site. The main attraction of AHS is of course Angkor Wat. Other highlights that we visited were Angkor Thom, Bayon, Ta Keo, Ta Prohm and Banteay Kdei (photos will be posted later).
