The church of St.Barnabas,Alphamstone.

Alphamstone,Essex,England,UK view map

Whilst on a sojourn around eastern Essex and having visited all I had time for,I was returning via Pebmarsh,as I'd walked through that village in 2000 on my Long Walk for Charity and wanted to see it again,I pottered along a lane to Alphamstone seeing this wonderful view.I like the way the clouds mimic the shape of the trees against a beautiful clear blue sky.For the time of year, just perfect

Just found out that one of my Weavers ancestors was baptised here (William Weavers) in 1769. Great to find a photo. Also Pebmarsh thick with ancestors. Gail from CT, USA
