My terminal point in my trek.By this point my feet were too sore to walk any farther and I still had at least 10 miles still to go.The westerly wind was increasing and I was getting very cold.Nearby were some newspaper stands and from these I took a paper to wear around my waist, under my jersey,to try to keep warm, until my wife turned up,to collect me.The exif says 01.49hrs,but on 26/12/2011,I realised I'd set the time an hour fast.I called for help at 00.45hrs,taken from a public wall clock nearby, and Ann arrived after her own magical mystery tour of east London, having mistaken Bishopsgate for Bow Road,at 01.50 hrs.
