The clump of trees is a small hillock about 50ft.high,at the mouth of the River Annan. The white buildings to the rhs of the clump of trees, line the west bank of the River Annan. If you peer into the distant grey cloud,to the lhs of the clump of trees, one can discern the triangulated shape of a local hill, named Criffel 570 m.,about 15 miles away.
