'Welcome to Weekly Informal Challenge 67: Change/Adapt

Here is a bit of an experiment for the challenge. For this week you are given five shots (quick snaps straight out of my camera resized for uploading and one desaturated) with which you can:
(1) Copy and edit for improvements. (This can be as simple as a proper cropping or as complex as you want to make it with your post processing/editing skills)
and/or
(2) Use one of these as a model for a subject you shoot and improve on from your perspective.
