La-Chung is situated in North Sikkim at an elevation of nearly 9000 Feet and it is the
gateway to Yumgthang Valley (also known as the Valley of Flowers of Eastern India). It
is a forward area and needs Permit issued by the Authorities applicable to both Indian
and foreign nationals.
