Peling/Peymayangtse & North Sikkim

Peling is located in West Sikkim, India. It is situated at an elevation of
about 6500 above sea level. Mt.Kanchenzhonga is about 40 Miles north of Peling.
The majestic third highest mountain of the world along with other famous Himalayan
peaks like Simvo,Kabru,Kumbhakarna,Pandim and Siniolchu stand in a long series with
Mt.Kanchenzhonga.The breath taking view of these peaks is a feast to the eyes.
Lachung is located in North Sikkim and it is the gateway to the enchanting Yumthang
Valley (Valley of Flowers of the Eastern India).This place is a forward area where
one needs a Permit to visit.

I am Ashok Bose (Moni) from Uttarpara. I heard about picturesque of Peling. Today viewd few photographs. Could you please let me know few points to visit. I shall be glad if you can furnish name of few holday homes, hotels where I can stay 2/3 days at Rs. 300-Rs. 350 per day. I propose to visit Peling in the third week of May, 2008.

the snaps are absolutely fab . We are visting Peling this christmas . could u plz provide some good places in and around Peling where i can sneak thru . staying there for abourt 4 days . planning to go to to Yuksom , Khechiperi lake , khechi peri monestry . could u plz provide me some good places

As I was saying (ran out of balance last time), your photos have enhanced my enthusiasm on our trip to the beautiful city. The view of the Kanchenjungha seem to be terrific and heavenly from there. I am a hill-lover,and have visited to almost all the major hill-stations of North India. But Peling,I hear is different altogether. Can't wait!I would be very grateful,if you send me more information about the sightseeings of Peling and its vicinity. Ours will be a 3 days tour(owing to my HS results)

Thanks ! You liked my Sikkim Gallery. Sikkim is a place close to my heart. There are
so much photographic opportunities in Sikkim that you need to visit the place several times in order to exploit it. Did you visit La Chung and Yumthang Valley by the way?
That's another awesome place with mother nature pouring her heart out there.

Awesome. Thanks for the pictures. I have just been to Gangtak but i could not visit Peling. I headr about Peling and Yoksom from my friend. Your pics took me to to Peling. My hobby is also photography. Your photoes are an ispiration. Thank you for your labour of love.
