Eagleview NSW Australia vs La Silla Observatory Chile

NGC 1232 Spiral Galaxy in Eridanus

The image on the left was taken by me, using the 30cm F3.8 astrograph at Eagleview Observatory, located at 1450m AMSL in the Tinderry Mountains NSW Australia.

The image on the right was composed and processed by Robert Gendler using data from the 1.54m (60") Danish telescope at La Silla Observatory located at 2375m AMSL,
on the outskirts of the Atacama Desert in Chile.
