Comparisons with images by Hubble and other large telescopes
This album is a collection of comaprisons of some of my work with that of Hubble, VLT and other large observatories.
I have found it helpful to make these comparisons as it assists in identifying details in my data
that would otherwise go unnoticed.
It is important to keep in mind that the images taken by the large scopes in each example are
small image files taken from the web, the original files in each case would show much more
raw detail however for the purposes of this exercise the smaller files still illustrate the point.
All images here by me were taken using a 152mm aperture Starfire APO at 1300mm focal length or a 12"
F3.8 Orion Optics AG12 corrected Newtonian at 1120mm focal length and either a Proline 11002M or
Proline 16803 CCD camera by Finger Lakes Instrumentation and using Astronomik Filters.
