TOP IMAGE was taken in 1984 when I just 17 years of age, using a home made cold camera which
used dry ice to chill the film, through a Celestron 5 SCT mounted piggyback on the Oddie refractor
at Mt Stromlo Observatory in Canberra which acted as a pull cord, manually operated guide platform.
BOTTOM IMAGE was taken in 2014 at 47 years of age, using an electronically cooled digital CCD camera
through a high quality Orion Optics UK 12" f3.8 Newtonian astrograph ona Takahashi NJP mount and
autoguided with a digital CCD guide camera via an off axis guider - all controlled by a computer.
