Thanks Katherine and Kathy! The game is Bocce or Boccia (Italian), Pétanque or Boule (both French). Pretty much similar games I would say, but I am likely just ignorant to tell the difference.

Franky, I think I like this one best of your series. Is it like Bocce ball?
Great series - I like how you showed the wide view of the whole game, a close-up of the throwing action, and a close -up of where the balls ended up! This looks like a game some people were playing at a picnic I went to a couple weeks ago - I'd never seen this game before.
