Family Affair

by Helen Betts

Ankara, Turkey

I hiked downtown today in search of "moving" images but it was sub-zero and very few people were out. I ended up at this park where a few hardy souls were feeding the birds, but even the ducks didn't want to get into the water it was that cold.

I really like this shot. A beautiful composition, with lots of color and action. Melanie

That picture is growing on me, everytime I look at it I have a different view. For one reason or the other I come back to that picture
Very nice shot

Very effective composition, Helen. The interesting "stepping" of the family members... and the 5 people in the scene forming a large arc. I like the deep, rich colors and also the expressions of glee on the faces of the daughter and father as they interact with the pigeons.

Helen, I feel this is the best of the three because it captures a precious moment in their lives.

Helen, I really like the expressions...and that flurry of activity around the feeding hand. I agree with John about the color and clarity. Nice catch of the birds in flight...nice candid view of family fun in the park. Well taken and observed. MFC

Helen, I like this one better of the two. Probably because of the expresions, and the way they are lined up height-wise. Great clarity and colors too. John(ebones)
