The obligatory spider macro that's du rigueur in these games ;-)
This guy was about 8-9 mm in body length so I wasn't too worried picking him up and posing him!

Canon EOS 10D ,Sigma 105mm f/2.8 EX Macro
with reversed Minolta 50mm f/1.7 added.

1/200s f/22.0 at 105.0mm iso200 with Flash full exif

Thanks folks. Bev, I'm not at all versed in these things and I don't know what's really recognisable as an eye on this character (though most are obvious), but I gather that they can have up to 4 pairs! - Mike

Hm-m-m, never thought of picking up a spider, Mike. The word "squish" goes through my mind. However, great macro! - maybe just a little too 'close & personal' :-) How many eyes does this creature have? Bev
