Yesterday I took off a little early from work and took my camera for a drive (hey, it was a sunny day in March). On a back road a local farmer must have cleaned a barn and put the waste on his field. The offal contained in the pile started a feeding frenzy. At the buffet was a flock of 200-300 European starlings, 200+ gulls, about a dozen Bald Eagles, and a mix of common crows and common ravens. I stayed and photographed until I couldn't feel my fingers anymore (it was sunny - not warm).
