I am sorry that I did not find out about this forum until tonight. Thank you. The snow can be even higher than that. The leaves were yellow. I have some similar shots in color too.

wow! what a wonderful shot stephen! the B&W is stunning - were the leaves yellow? I've never noticed the snow-line like that before!
