In March and I believe still as of today, the Prairie is suffering from a severe draught, and because of the draught, the wetlands/marsh and water on the Prairie is very limited. As a result of the limited water, the fish and wildlife that live off of the fish, to include aligators, are concentrated in these limited wet areas. As seen in this picture, this canal is full of gators that were lined up to feed on fish that were moving down the canal.
