Larches

Whether you call it a Larch or a Tamarac, this wonderful
little alpine tree has needles that turn a brilliant shade
of yellow gold in the autumn. This shot was taken from
a little campsite on a knoll and looking back up towards
Chiwawa Mountain and the Spider Glacier.

This image... is a shot from below the knoll. This campsite
sits up on top.... Breathtaking scenery from every direction!
