yeah sooo I am all late with my comment,,, lol.. anyway, I like this image. I was searching for sample images from this lens, as I love mine. I like it in color better, gives the image more balance, and meaning. Especially with the body countours of the 3 people oddly being very similar.

I like the black & white because, well, because I LOVE black and white. But I also like the red signs. This would be a fun image to do a partial B&W and keep the signs red. You've got such a great eye!

I think I prefer the b&w version but both are good! the b&w one emphasises the difference between the two folks on the right who are busy tucking in and the girl on the left.

Very well observed. Glad to see the season of goodwill means everyone is making friends....

I like the colour version ... the people appear some what monochromatic - the sense of isolation is there ... but the red posters add a splash to the scene.
Great catch!

I like the color.. something about the red in the posters.. Love the repeating people - alone and just enjoying..

I prefur it in color! This is a great shot!

Like it in color, nice shot.

I assumed it *would* look better in b&w (to emphasize their isolation, lonliness) but after looking at the b&w version I think I like the contrast of the warm colors against their aloneness. Excellent shot... the sign is a kind of ironic element. BTW, I love Einstien's!

Black and white would make it look more miserable. Nothing worse than lunching alone.

I think if it were a night scene, I would like it better in black and white. As it is, I like the color.

This is great, Steve. The sign in the background points up the message of your photo even more.
