Gangfight - Swan vs. Geese

Brighton, Mich.

I got to enjoy a swan take on a gang of geese on a small lake near my house. The swan would come charging at the geese and they would take partial flight to get away.

I headed up to a lake last week where I had seen some baby swans as I wanted to try to get some photos of them. Instead I was treated to about an hour or so of the same behaviour that you have captured here. While mama swan had the babies out for breakfast near the bird blind I was standing in, papa was patrolling the waters for intruders. I had a great time watching it, didn't you? Things like this are the very reason I love nature and nature photography. Anyway, this is a nice gallery of shots you captured. I never tire of these sorts of photos. Nice work.
