Chris, at asa 400 you get great speed and of f stop...

is there very little grain at this asa... and could you print this 11x16 or 13x19 easily

i cant really shoot asa 400 with my sony r1 and miss most street shots... at 1/20 or 1/60 at asa 200.. not a true slr

You capture an instant that says surprise -- and we are observers. If you had been able to confront her at this moment, we would be participants. You have to weigh the benefits of an active vs passive vantage point all the time in street photography, Chris. A passive vantage point such as this renders you invisible, but does not really involve the viewer directly. A head on active vantage point makes you visible, and her reaction would be to you and your camera, with the viewer becoming directly involved in the exchange. Take your choice.

Hehehe, giggles. I like how the background leads towards the eyes.

A wonderful hand expression! Oh no, what had she done wrong? But she's such a sweetie pie to be forgiven :-)
