Harry Lauder's Walking Stick

"CONTORTED HAZELNUT"
Corylus avellana L. 'Contorta'

This is an unusual tree that is more strikingly
beautiful after losing its leaves. The branches
are twisted, almost tortured into strange shapes
and curves. In the snow, it takes on a strange
beauty.

Yes its nice but I wouldn't like bumping into a branche and having that snow go down my back .

I love tose trees, usually old, with the twisted, gnarly branches. Well done, Lee

This is a beautiful scene! Tortured branches holding up soft mounds of snow. Winter art.
