The Mogollon Rim, referred to by locals as "The Rim" is among the most picturesque locations in the Arizona territories. it gives rise to such areas as Sedona, Payson, Pinetop amd many other wonderful locals. Recently over 1/5 million acres were burned on the top portions in the nationally famous Rodeo-Chedski fire of 2002.
