North Tucson : AZ Monsoon Lightning

North of Tucson : Arizona

This is from 08 Aug 2006. There was a huge storm in Tucson that was dropping tons of lightning to the ground (the storm two nights later in Phoenix was almost all intra-cloud stuff and not that fun).

I did this as another stitched panoramic lightning shot similar to what I did 2 years back. Refinements in the tools made this much easier and faster to perform this time.

Canon EOS 1D Mark II ,Canon EF 135mm f/2L USM
This is a 3 image panoramic stitch full exif
