This shot was from Last Sunday (a Sunday in July 2006). It is a minor stitch (3 frames with about 80% overlap each) and cropped to 3:1) and not as ambitious as my first lightning panoramic but still a fun shot.
Trapped in So. California for the past year, I got home this past weekend for a long break and luck would have it, during the monsoons. I had stopped by my sisters in North Scottsdale when we decided to head out and try and catch this storm. Got lucky. This was a distant but active cell dropping a strike every 6-10 seconds. And then it stopped. Without warning all lightning stopped as if thrown off with a switch.
