LET THERE BE LIGHT
I am always fascinated by the fact that so many people don't notice the transformative nuances of light and shadow.
proof, yet again that we are all the same, yet different

Living in southeast Louisiana you learn about light. Is not even worth it to take pictures at certain times of the day. Like the light on the house!

Agreed...the first thing that draws me to an image is the light...

You know when I started to notice the difference alot? When I started shooting people outside...
Shooting a wedding I would sooo hope for cloudy skies! Please please, gimme clouds so I don't have to deal with the shadows on their faces....
But in other images, the shadows work so well, like the way light reflects off water, giving that "watercolory" feel...if that makes sense.

Such a good idea and well executed, of course.

So how do you know that "so many people" don't notice?
That aside, this is an excellent comparison. And it is an interesting looking building also.
