The former jewish complex - a synagogue, baths, residential houses, and a workshop built by the Jews were located in Mlynska (Mill) Street (Nos. 6 and 7), west of the fortified part of the town. This complex creating a suburb has survived of the whole area organized according to the rules of the Talmud, it dates from the end of C18. A large synagogue from the first of C18 is the dominant of the complex. It consisted of a ritual bath, an expansion tower with a boiler room, a slaughterhouse, and an assembly house. The preserved Jewish suburb is a most-notable urban architectural unit in whole Eastern Slovakia. A well-preserved cemetery with sandstone tombstones also belongs to this complex.
