Stone Circle

Aberdeenshire

Part of the recumbent stone circle at Tomnaverie.
Sits atop a small hillock and is the remains of a Druidicial temple.
The name Tomnaverie (Tom-na-hivrigh) means Hill of Worship,
and the panoramic views from here are spectacular

I always think these lesser known stone circles have so much more magic about them.

What you doing at my favourite spot again!!!! I think you have caught it at best angle framing Morven beautifully through the recumbent. Mind I reckon we should get that fence down.

Stone-age skittles!! Nice bit of b&w processing, keeping interest from foreground through to the distant hill

Lovely to see there's still some snow on the hills. Great shot.
