Yellow-crowned Bishop

I caught this fella yesterday and was confusing it with the weavers (village and southern masked). Captured so many weavers it wasn't sport enough. This is s pretty interesting species in flight. Flys like a ball of fury while territorial or looking for a mate I guess. This is species number 66 in my quest for capturing South Africa birds in flight. Hope you enjoy my birds.

"Ball of fury!" I love it. Exactly what I thought it looked like when I clicked on the thumbnail ... a feathered tennis ball. V
