...This is an exact replica of a 911 3.0 RSR built by a specialist well-known for his preparation of racing Porsche's for historic races. The owner initially began with a 911 chassis from 1970, but later chose to replace it with a reinforced new 911 3L chassis. The rollover cage is an original Heigo . The engine is a 3L Aluminium block (as mostly the case for restored RSR's) with twin ignition that has been modified to 3,3L, and developing a tested 320HP.

The engine's technical details are the following: crankshaft with 74 mm stroke x 100 mm bore; compression ratio 10,5:1; 6.20 RSR camshaft with centralised lubrification; steel rocker arms; reinforced valve spring retainers; RSR valve guides; 935 circlips; polished and lightened connecting rods; SCRS exhaust; Bosch twin ignition; and small turbine. The gearbox is a type 915 modified to RSR specification and mounted with a short ratio gearset with a 8/31 final drive; lateral oil pump; pinion wheel lubrification system; RSR clutch; lightened flywheel; and RSR oil cooler. The car also comes equipped with torque stabilisers (22mm front; 20mm rear) and a specially adjusted Bilstein suspension. Very little distinguishes this car from an original. However the owner did make a deliberate choice not to adopt certain parts given their cost and reliability implications. This is the case for the suspension arms and brakes. We can however procure these parts for the purist wanting a 100% conformity with the original RSR's.
