Hawaii State Fair on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii USA. The photo was taken with a Sigma SD10 and a Helios-44-2, 2/58 Russian Lens. One must modify this lens with a metal file before it will focus to infinity on a Sigma SD10. Also, you could damage the dust cover in the camera if you don't modify the lens. You must have an M42 adapter too.
I like this photo for four reasons: It shows the color of the sky. It shows the "frozen" movment of the roller coaster. If you magnify the photo, you can see the illuminated electric lights on the ride, steel support structure. The photo was taken on a very bright day. Lastly, it shows how an old lens can be put to creative use.
The photo appears slightly under-exposed. I decided not to edit it and just leave it up to the auto-correct in the software to retain the blue color of the sky.
