This photo was taken at the beach near a cave nemed Hálsanefshellir. This cave is at the southwest corner of Reynisfjall and is a very impressive cave. But to get to the cave you have to take the sea into account as you can only reach it at low tide.
Unfortunatly it wasn´t low tide when we were there, so we were unable to get photos of the cave this time. But near to the cave are some very lovely basalt rock formations. Also one of the Reynisdrangar can be seen in the background.
