Once again we head out on a photography adventure planned by Jeremy Woodhouse, a professional photographer from Texas. Please visit his website at: http://www.pixelchrome.com/blog/
Those of us from Texas are only about eight hours by car from New Orleans and the swamps of southern Louisiana. We went to photograph nature and plantations of the area.
There are eight participants who meet at Oak Alley Plantation, located in Vacherie, Louisiana.
Texas is represented by Ella and Hal, Jeremy, Terree and myself. Mitch is from Missouri. Suzanne and Doug are from Pennsylvania.
Thanks to Charlie, our swamp guide, Cajun cook, photographer, and story teller, our week of exploration becomes an adventure like no other... good comraderie, great food, lots of laughs and a few unexpected mishaps along the way.

So... join me as we travel to Louisiana. I will definitely return to this captivating area to see more and hope this gallery will encourage you too, to visit this unique area of our country.
