Lights, Streets, And Thereabouts. Night Photography

The night time offers a whole new aspect of lighting and mood to a subject which can appear
as an ordinary mundane view in the harshness of daylight.
Dim your lights and see through my lens as we go in search of those fine evening moments.

For those interested, my camera used for these shots is the Canon EOS 5D SLR (full frame)
and the trusty Canon EOS 350D. Lens is the Canon 24-105mm 'L' series and Sigma 15-30 EX DG Aspherical.

This is a fantastic collection, night photography is a labour of love which requires patience and a really good knowledge of your gear. What I like the most is that these have not been HDR-ed, and that it's back to basics with simply superb photography. My big vote.

Hi Steve, I moved to Sydney a while ago, but Stumbled Upon these shots of near where I grew up in Altrincham, so thanks for the great shots that made me nostalgic for childhood birthday parties in What's Cooking, drinking in the Red Cow and other great Knutsford times!

Excellent trio of shots Steve.....I especially like the Church Hill frame.......the blue light on the wall and the yellow brick of the church makes a fantastic contrast .....very atmospheric shots...excellent....I am sure you have got plenty more tucked away.....so come on lets see em.....regards
