Although quite angelic in appearance while velvet covered the nubs of his emerging antlers, he was always the one who pushed the others out of the way when he wanted an apple, and never hesitated to make off with an apple on which another deer was peacefully munching. Once the velvet was rubbed away, his look finally matched his behavior.
