We embarked on a second trip to New Zealand in a year. In a word, the weather was appalling in the most part but that did not stop me taking a few snaps. If you are thinking of travelling to the South Island of New Zealand, I recommend this Hapuku guest house accommodation

I was in New Zealand this year from Feb 9 to March 18 and had fabulous weather - only 3 days of rain. Often the weather is better at the end of the summer so try again. Your photos are not spoiled by bad weather though, they are fantastic.

there are some stunning images in this gallery, well done! Regarding the weather: similar to my experience last year. Required equipment for NZ vacation: good lenshood against the rain ;-)

Beautiful pictues Sheila. Enjoyed seeing them and would like to go back someday. I was stationed there for 6 months in 1976 after wintering over in Antartica. Enjoyed every day there.

Hope you get better weather next time.
