19 November - Victoria Quays Sheffield

As you may have noticed I've started to carry the little ixus i around with me - it's tiny and not mine (Laura's)
I had to dash to town today and didn't have a lot of time but managed to spend around 15 minutes in the canal basin.
Couldn't believe my luck, perfectly still water, blue sky and great reflections.
Fixed lens and auto only but I'm quite pleased with the shots I took - who needs a DSLR
Okay I do, but I'd like one of these little cameras of my own!

The little camera is providing some great shots. The clarity is superb.

I agree with others, having the compact with you allowed you to record this moment in time and share this lovely image with us. :-) Great comp and reflections!

Go with John's comment :)

Superb capture, Sheena. And well done for carrying the compact. Despite trying to build a good DSLR kit, I still take some useful images with my own Fuji compact. If taking the picture is 50% and post-processing is 50%, then the other 50% (LOL) is being in the right place at the right time with a camera in your hand!

Well done on this one

Great reflection! Sometimes the eye is more important than the lens.

Wonderful reflections and a nice composition. Nothing against the colours either.
