21 June

Well I've never chased after an hot air balloon before but I did tonight.
My husband shouted me from the garden and said it was heading our way.
I quickly changed lenses and ran outside only to find that it was heading AWAY from us.
Never mind, I caught up with it at the construction site of a new Sainsbury's!

I like your placement of the balloon at the end of the large crane.
it adds a lot of interest and scale to this photo Sheena.
GMV!

There's a nice contrast in shape here. And the colouring of the balloon is just SO Sheena!

Great the way that the line of the crane leads into the balloon.

It appears as if the balloon is tethered to the end of the crane. Nice catch.

Nice, it looks like the crane is trying to catch it. The perspective is really funny. The balloon looks super small with that crane there.

Did it land on the crane? Now that would have been a talking point. Nice evening light

I think you took too long to change the lense, *kidding

This is a very different and special picture, against the convention, but very well composed :)

Nice, balloon chasing, similar to storm chasing but more gentle! Would have been good to try and line this up with the end of the crane as well.

I hope the balloon doesn't go too near the crane! :-o
i've only ever been in one and it was Richard Bransons!! he was there too! when i was really young(er) though...
